About me

I grew up using Homeopathy as my mother always had a keen interest in it, later qualifying as a Homeopath. My siblings and I were rarely given conventional medicine and we grew up with very few ailments. As a teenager, I briefly rebelled against the ‘alternative’ and stomped off to the doctor with a persistent rash that would come and go on my legs. Homeopathy didn’t shift it fast enough and I was adamant that medication would be the solution. I was disappointed. After the doctor’s initial surprise that he had not seen me since I was 4, he sent me on my way with a prescription for steroid cream. We’d had a 5-minute consultation and he was completely disinterested in how I felt! I was angry at his lack of interest in me and felt cheated at his diagnosis without even asking to see the rash. With the exception of ‘booking in’ my 3 pregnancies, I haven’t seen a doctor since.

Following University, I traveled the world for a few years, living in Germany (teaching English), Denmark (substitute teaching, then a stint in the fashion industry), Austria (ski instructing) and New York (Au-pair), finally settling back in London. Having taken the time to explore the world and ‘find myself’, I knew that I wanted to be a Homeopath. I want to make a difference in people’s lives, to listen to them and give them the time that our doctors simply don’t have. I began studying Homeopathy at the age of 26 and qualified as a Homeopath from the Centre of Homeopathic Education in 2006 just before my first son was born.

Since qualifying, I have had 3 children – (all home births with the use of Homeopathy). I have juggled home life with practicing homeopathy for the past 12 years. During this time I have developed a passion for treating pregnant women and supporting them with remedies to ease labour. I specialize in post natal depression and PTSD following traumatic birth. I treat new mums and their babies, and growing families with all the health problems and stress that this entails.

I practice Homeopathy from my home in Addiscombe, Croydon with both clinic hours and Skype appointments available to you!
